The Associate Manager, Government & Community Affairs serves in a project management capacity to organize events, support VIP tours, government application and report submissions, communication collateral and data management to advance the goals of the Government & Community Affairs Department which is responsible for all U.S.-based government relations, NYC-based community relations, public policy development and campaign advocacy. The Department is responsible for protecting and growing New York City, New York State, and U.S. Government funding streams that provide over $100 million in annual WCS operating, programmatic and capital support. This position To advance its goals, this position works closely with the Department’s lobbyists, across Public Affairs and frequently with Business Services and Education. Strong project management, communication/collaboration, and attention to detail are all essential qualities contributing to success in this role.Principal Responsibilities
