This role focuses on Red Hat Integration technologies for microservices-based applications and involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing API management and messaging solutions.As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with clients to ensure seamless integration and effective management of enterprise APIs, streams, and connectors.Position: 1099 Consultant/Short-TermCitizenship: U.S. citizenshipLocation: RemoteClearance: Required to comply with federal contract requirementsKey Responsibilities:API Management:

• Design, implement, and manage Red Hat 3scale API Management solutions.
• Optimize API gateway configurations for performance and security.

Integration Development:

• Configure and deploy Camel Kafka Connectors for seamless data streaming.
• Develop and manage Kafka Topics for scalable event-driven architectures.
• Implement AMQ Streams for high-throughput messaging solutions.

Database Integration:

• Utilize Debezium SQL Connectors for change data capture and database synchronization.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide expertise in Red Hat Integration technologies tailored for microservices-based architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex API and messaging integration issues.

Collaboration:

• Work in a remote delivery team environment while coordinating with VA stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, providing guidance on best practices and implementation strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship (required to comply with federal contract requirements).
• Strong experience with Red Hat 3scale API Management and associated technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with:

• Camel Kafka Connector
• Kafka Topic
• AMQ Stream / Debezium SQL Connector
• In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Integration tools for microservices-based applications.
• Ability to pass a VA background check.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in API Management or other relevant certifications.
• Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal agencies.
• Familiarity with additional Red Hat products and cloud-native solutions.
