Compensation Range: $85,000 – 90,000 per yearWe are seeking a Java Backend Developer to support sensitive government projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills, experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL, and a working knowledge of AWS cloud services.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend Java applications.
• Work with Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL databases.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions (AWS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to strict security and compliance requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional Java backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and SQL.
• Experience with AWS cloud services is a significant plus.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency for at least 7 years.
• Ability to pass rigorous background checks, including credit and federal criminal checks.
• Ability to provide proof of citizenship and valid driver’s license.
• Must not have lived outside of the US for more than 30 days.

Additional Notes:

• Onsite work is required in downtown Austin, TX.
• This role is for an individual contributor.
• Client offers upskilling opportunities for AWS cloud practioner.
• No sponsorship is available.
• Clearance is required.
