Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking an Aging Care Manager to assist senior citizens with obtaining enriching services and support to lead active, safe lives. Take pride in the work you do and apply with us today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Aging Care Manager 1 is a trainee position. Upon successful completion of the six-month probationary period, you will be promoted to an Aging Care Manager 2, inclusive of a salary increase. Your training will include learning how to assess the needs of older adults, develop and implement care plans, provide advocacy and ongoing care management, and protect consumers from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for older adults by providing them with access to a range of community and home-based services. This position may, at times, require flexible work location and environment to effectively support our consumers.
