Compensation Range: $68 – 78 per hourCella is looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic Content Developer to join a leading heavy machinery and construction equipment company. In this exciting new role, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling content that engages customers, prospects, employees, potential hires, and the communities where their machinery makes a difference.As a Content Developer, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to pinpoint opportunities, develop strategic content plans, create impactful campaigns, and manage content distribution across our websites and various media channels.Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on assigned topics to develop engaging narratives that position the dealership and its various business units as industry experts and thought leaders.
• Bring stories to life through diverse media formats, including video, long-form articles, and compelling visuals. You will collaborate with agency partners and vendors to ensure brand consistency and optimal content placement.
• Spearhead the creation of multimedia content designed to promote our extensive range of products and brands across all business lines, encompassing machine sales, equipment rentals, power systems, and product support.
• Capture authentic stories directly from the field by interacting with customers and employees throughout the companies brands and dealership’s territory in New England and upstate New York.
• Travel to dealership locations, customer job sites, industry events, and other relevant locations to gather content and capture engaging footage.
• Establish strong rapport with employees and customers, taking a leadership role in on-location content capture by guiding participation and setting the creative direction.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Managers to prioritize content needs and adhere to the content delivery schedule.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills, with a proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, navigate challenges, and contribute positively as a team member.
• Proven experience in writing, producing, and creating content specifically for marketing purposes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to conduct insightful interviews with story subjects to capture key themes and messaging.
• A strong business acumen with the ability and eagerness to learn the intricacies of the business and develop a collaborative partnership with business leadership.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to independently initiate and manage projects effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various dealership and rental locations throughout New England and upstate New York.
• Experience working within the construction/heavy machinery or automotive industry is preferred.
