Every one of us is Chiesi.”Who we are looking forPurposeLead and maintain business projects and programs as a member of the Global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Team. Success in this role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization’s IT policies and standards, drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations. The ICT Program Manager will be responsible for helping define and institutionalize the demand management process, maintaining the IT project portfolio, executing strategic IT projects, and acting as a trusted advisor and liaison between IT and business units. This is a temporary position slated for 3(+/-) days per week through the end of 2025 and the possibility to extend/reassess at the end of contract period.Main ResponsibilitiesDemand Management

  • Partner with business leaders, department heads, and stakeholders to institutionalize and continuously refine the demand management process, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Work with business and ICT leadership to define business needs and ensure that IT projects are aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as the bridge between the technical team and stakeholders, including clients, management, and other departments within the organization, to ensure everyone is aligned and the project objectives are met.

Project Initiation and Execution

  • Couple with business sponsors and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple cross-functional teams in delivering approved projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Work with business to define and monitor project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Proactively identify and document project dependencies, constraints, and assumptions.
  • Blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile approach for strategic-level projects.

Project Oversite and Monitoring

  • Participate in business and ICT planning sessions to align technology initiatives with organizational strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, or new technology adoption that supports business goals.
  • Monitor project progress using established metrics and report updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed.

Governance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with ICT standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics for the IT project portfolio.
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs), project health, and portfolio status to ICT leadership.
  • Continuously assess portfolio management processes and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key business stakeholders and functional area leaders.
  • Facilitate communication across departments and ensure alignment on project, priorities, goals, and deliverables.
  • Actively lead regular project meetings and communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate Steering Committee meetings to ensure alignment of portfolio with approved projects and programs, reprioritizing when needed.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position or as a consultant in a regulated environment, preferably Pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously from conception to delivery.
  • Experience in GxP Computer System Validation (CSV) processes and procedures, preferred.
  • Strong project and program management skills; ability to establish project priorities and develop and meet project milestones and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, solid organization, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, proven analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
  • Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
