Description: Key responsibilities of a mainframe developer at Banking in Delaware might
include:
 Developing and maintaining applications for mainframe systems.
 Writing code, testing it, and working with other developers to ensure
proper functioning.
 Utilizing technologies like COBOL, IMS, and DB2.
 Design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple
components within a technical product, application, or system.
 Possible work with CICS web services and Rest API.
 Knowledge in Mainframe utilities such as File-Aid, Expeditor, SORT,
REXX, and SAS.
 Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
To be successful in these roles, candidates may need:
 Experience with mainframe systems and related technologies.
 Skills in programming languages like COBOL, and potentially other
languages like Python, Java, or Unix Shell Scripting.
 Knowledge of mainframe utilities and systems.
 Experience with databases like DB2 and IMS.
 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
