Description: Position Summary… This role is to support day-to-day production for the Post-Production group at Jandy Studio. Projects will range from video editorial, CG, motion design, sound record and mix, and photography retouching. Content created by the team is for full funnel uses including broadcast tv, web, social, installation/OOH, toolkits, and radio. We’re looking for someone with strong post-production background as a producer in a commercial post facility. Familiarity with advertising is required and retail/brand side experience is a plus. Ideally this candidate will have basic working knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite to better support the artists that they would be producing for.   • Bidding and resource planning for new/upcoming projects.
  • Project financial tracking and actualization to ensure contractors and vendors are paid on time and projects come in at or under budget.
  • Oversee day to day tasks for artists such as photo retouchers, editors, colorists, motion graphics artists, and CG artists.
  • Oversee outsourcing with external vendors on a per project basis, ensuring materials are delivered to them on time, materials are delivered back to WCS on time, and costs are on track with planned budgets.

You’ll do these kinds of things…

  • Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and adapt to incremental rush requests.
  • Maintain a high level of quality, consistency, and accuracy across all images and projects.
  • Manage communication across departments including WCS “agency” producers, WCS creatives, account managers, and external partners.
  • Basic data IO tasks such as ingest and delivery prep for files entering and leaving the Jandy pipeline.
  • Comfortably work with ambiguity and handle other post-production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience as a producer or senior producer at a post facility.
  • Ability to bid out and schedule basic editorial, color, and motion design projects with minimal input.
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Premier.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills and project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3D production experience.
  • Video editing production experience.
  • Strong rolodex of freelance resources across the LA area.
