Manages multiple versions of content, designs, and implements new technology, recommends solutions for customers, and performs web search data analysis. Primarily responsible for creating, editing, publishing, administering and removing website, social/digital and print content. Responsible for development, design, writing and sending of weekly e-mail, text and website updates for the Vandenberg community. Works in tandem with other marketing specialists to develop creative promotions, information and direct marketing for both website pages and social/digital media. Develops content for all customer-facing formats, including website and digital/social media. Reviews copy, graphics advertisements and links to ensure quality and proper branding of website. Identifies and acquires job related requirements for equipment, supplies, and software.
Develops and implements campaigns, promotions and advertising to increase Vandenberg community participation with social and digital media. Performs limited market research using focus groups and surveys, provides data to activity managers. Assists with employment of proper publicity tools, including (but not limited to) the FSS website, e-mails, slides, posters, flyers, banners, road signs, monitor ads, the quarterly FSS magazine (FOG), and all social media outlets to effectively advertise facility events and inform the public about program availability.
