Project Description:
The PPM tool 2.0 is a project management tool aimed at implementing a refined data model and reporting for the next release. The main objective is to integrate various change requests into the existing Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) tool on the Microsoft Power App Platform. This will involve modifications to the data model and the reporting layer to meet current needs and enhance functionality.Service description:
- Establishment of Actual Benefit Reporting: Implementation of a framework for tracking and reporting the actual benefits derived from projects on a monthly basis.
Enhancement of One-page Status Reports: Improvement of existing status reports to provide insights into the progress of individual projects and programs. * Implementation of Automated Gantt Diagrams: Creation of automated Gantt diagrams to visually represent project timelines and milestones.
- Simplification of Project Type: Reduction of the complexity of the currently implemented project type to a simple project, with the option to migrate projects from simple to complex type along the project runtime.
- Incorporation of Workstream Details: Inclusion of detailed information about various workstreams within projects for better management of tasks and responsibilities.
- Adjustment of Formulas for Activity Status: Revision of existing formulas to accurately indicate the status of individual activities.
- Integration with PowerPoint: Incorporation of the status report from the tool into Microsoft PowerPoint for real-time project and program status report presentations.
- Integration with MS Planner: Merging of activity responsibilities listed in the tool into Microsoft Planner to streamline task management and enhance collaboration.
- Building of Integration with ERP: Development of an interface with the ERP system to synchronize wbs/psp elements being used for plan and actual one-time costs related to the project.
- Establishment of Versioning of Status Reports: Creation of a versioning system for status reports to maintain a historical record of project progress.
- Hiding of Buttons on the Standard MS Powerplatform: Removal of visibility of some buttons on the standard MS Powerplatform.
- Refinement of the Current Landing Page: Improvement of the current landing page by adding some user-specific tasks, milestones, etc.
- Checking of Integration with BI Active Directory: Exploration of options to integrate with the BI active directory.
- Refinement of Notification Workflows: Investigation of options to refine existing or implement new notification workflows
Skills:
- Written and spoken English
- Practical knowledge of programming and optimizing a portfolio and project management tool (PPM)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and MS Planner
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with stakeholders
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous
