Description: Kforce’s client in Raleigh, NC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 to lead platform deployments for the company. This is a remote role requiring onshore candidates only. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code, and RHEL systems administration, with the ability to install and configure software packages via RPM, and effectively work across cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP preferred). Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4, including installation, configuration, and validation
• Design and implement automated infrastructure and configuration solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Apply best practices in Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to streamline deployment and operations
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security across multiple environments
• Collaborate with client teams to understand requirements, provide guidance, and deliver customized OpenShift solutions
• Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues related to OpenShift and underlying RHEL systems
• Install and configure required packages and dependencies using RPM
• Support cloud integrations, particularly with AWS or GCP environments (preferred)

• Strong expertise in RH OpenShift Container Platform 4 with proven platform deployment experience
• Advanced proficiency with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (RH AAP)
• Deep understanding of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) system administration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code concepts and tooling
• Hands-on experience with RPM-based software installation and management
• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or GCP (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• This is a remote contract role requiring candidates to be onshore
• Approximate workload: 480 hours (engagement duration may vary based on client needs)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
