We aim to be the best partners and deliver incredible time and cost value for our customers.RH is seeking a VP of Design Integration to lead the evolution of our unique and disruptive RH Contract interior design approach. This role balances business leadership with creative excellence, guiding and developing a team of design and complex project leadership professionals, refining tools and processes to elevate our capabilities, and ensuring projects are prioritized and resourced effectively to meet commitments. In addition, this customer-facing role is responsible for representing our integrated design team and capabilities in conversations with strategic customers to help frame up large, complex design-to-delivery projects. The role leads our Design Integration team (the dedicated team that leads the pre- and post-sale work and orchestrating our integrated design approach to support our largest, most complex design projects) and our Interior Design team (the team that supports our customers with a range of design services from full-scale interior design to fast space planning). This role drives our “business of design” objectives and is a critical component of our unique and disruptive RH Contract interior design approach.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead our RH Contract Interior Design team – framing up the approach to large design projects; prioritizing our design projects and resourcing to meet customer deliverables and our business goals; elevating the Interior Design team’s work and capabilities to be the best in the luxury Hospitality space based on its scope; proactively resolving customer and project issues
• Lead our Design Integration team that project manages our large, complex design projects – framing up the approach to these large, complex projects; leading the customer, prioritizing the team’s work and resourcing to meet customer deliverables and our business goals; proactively resolving customer and project issues; making sure we are having the right conversations with all the external parties involved in the project; elevating the Design Integration team’s work to continue to provide the most innovative, valuable service to brands, developers and owners
• Partner closely with the VP of Global Sales and Regional Sales Directors to support their conversations with brands, developers, and owners from a Design Integration perspective
• Effectively communicate and credentialize our unique and valuable integrated approach
• Lead the preparation and negotiation of design project agreements
• Collaborate VP of Global Sales and Regional Sales Directors to prepare project case study presentations and indicative budgets to help accredit RH Contract as the best potential partner and set new projects up for success.
• Once projects are awarded, lead both our Interior Design and Design Integration teams to create and maintain the project schedule, ensure constant communication and deep collaboration across the RH Contract team, understand the path to advance each project, and support your team to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
• Partner with the President and VP of Global Sales to continuously refine our Design Integration value proposition and service offering – shaping customer messaging, identifying key targets, and identifying and supporting the strategic connections across brand, ownership, design, and procurement stakeholders.
• Partner with the Project Sourcing team to identify product development needs and factory capability gaps aligned with Integrated Design project requirements.
• Contribute to our highly collaborative RH Contract Leadership Team – insights, ideas, connections, issue troubleshooting

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 15+ years of experience in a senior Hospitality Design, Project Management, or Procurement role

Proven team leadership experience * Deep understanding of required deliverables for complex design projects in the luxury Hospitality segment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to cross-functional partners and customers
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage detailed project schedules with a high level of accuracy
• Skilled at engaging with RH Contract’s Leadership Team, cross-functional partners, senior customer stakeholders, and vendors
• Ability to prioritize multiple high-level projects with tight, competing deadlines, in collaboration with RH Contract Leadership
• Brings initiative, process innovation, and sound problem-solving and decision-making skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with a continuous drive to simplify and improve RH Contract systems and practices

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasionally travel domestically and internationally for strategic customer meetings and/or project product reviews
